Ever since I can remember, I was surrounded by lawyers who taught me long ago that an attorney finds power in the uncertainty of the law. I learned to see the law as a system of all the little things we do every day, even without noticing them.
During my studies, I had to overcome the legal barriers of various countries. As a result, I became interested in the processes of migration which were necessary for continuing education in international trade, business and employment law in Poland and Slovakia.
I communicate fluently in English, Ukrainian, Russian, Slovak and passively in Polish.
My primary responsibility in the office is to handle the cases within our ARRIVALS project dedicated to providing comprehensive immigration services in Slovakia. My job is to ensure that the entire immigration process runs smoothly and efficiently and our clients adapt to Slovakia as soon as possible after their arrival. In addition, I am responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships for Ukraine, the Balkans, Russia & the Commonwealth of Independent States (post-Soviet countries).
I also work on projects involving international law, EU law in particular. My focus is on trademarks and other IP rights. I conduct thorough analyses on their registrability, following which I represent clients in the respective proceedings. Moreover, in IP litigation cases, I research case law to find decisive arguments.
Before joining the law firm, I worked at the
Ukrainian Embassy in Poland, where my job was to handle the official affairs
for citizens living abroad and support the consular department. I also have
experience from working at a notarial office.
